There is no wine people inquire more about how much we have, which vintages are available, and when the new release is - besides DRC and Screaming Eagle - than Shafer Vineyard's reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, simply called Hillside Select.  So naturally, after years for traveling to Napa, collecting vintages, and meeting the Shafers we have set aside a vertical we feel needs to be shared, in unison with multiple vintages open at one time, for an evening like none other.

 
Did you know? In 2013 Shafer Vineyards made a very rare single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon sourced exclusively from the Sunspot Vineyards, one of the key blocks that makes up Shafer's legendary Hillside Select.  As the above label states, only 5 cases were produced, and if you do the quick math, thats only 60 bottles of wine.  To the point Elias Fernandez stated it is the best wine Shafer has ever produced since their 1978 Cabernet.
