Tronado Wines 2021 Capitán Trueno, Rioja Alavesa, Spain

A supple, plummy nose with some baking spices, heated stones and dried herbs. Soft and “fluffy” tannins on the palate precede a delicate finish. This has featherlight elegance, but a little more midpalate substance would take it to the next level.
