Château Troplong Mondot 2009 Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux, France

Opaque black to ruby color. Rich aromas, port-like fruit with black olive notes. At first the huge fruit on the palate seems restrained with cedar notes drying it out. Then the wine opens showing black olive & ripe black cherries with herbal hints.
