D'Oliveiras 1977 Terrantez, Madeira, Portugal

Like Bastardo, Terrantez came close to extinction, owing to Phylloxera. Several growers began replanting Terrantez in the 1940s and1950s. This beautiful example is soft, nutty, and subtly fragrant, with a just off-dry finish.
