Bought this on a whim at Fairway from one of the owners. It’s become one of my favorite drinks, with a little club soda and lime. Very tasty.

I generally prefer wine to hard liquor as I find hard liquor to have an overwhelming bitter alcohol taste. I was fortunate to taste the ginger whiskey and I found it to be very smooth and slightly sweet with no alcohol aftertaste. I sipped it much like I would a fine wine and found it was very complex with many subtle notes.

I love this whiskey! Even though I’m not typically a whiskey drinker I enjoy Misunderstood! It goes great in a cocktail or just on the rocks.

Had a Manhattan with this as the base whiskey and I was impressed. It’s rare to find a flavored whiskey that actually tastes good, not just overly sugary and sweet. I bought a bottle after my experience and am currently using it as a base whiskey for mixed drinks, but my wife and I also pour it over one ice cube and sipping on it in the evening.
