Domaine Taupenot-Merme 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin, Bel Air Premier Cru, Burgundy, France

2020 was a stellar year for this vineyard. A mix of white pepper, clove and minerals claim the nose, while its medium body has fleshy and ripe fruit balanced by earl grey tea and spices with fine tannins. Their “less is more” approach clearly paid off.
